I can't imagine walking up and down that hill in the winter - it was bad enough when we did it last fall - with snow and ice - wow!!! As always you have managed to take a challenging experience and not allow it to drag you down. Instead you have take the opportunity to create. I wonder what the rest of us could manage to create if we were to be given the gift of isolation for awhile . . .?

Beautiful as always Diana! For us it has also been a time to reflect and appreciate the simple things in life and realise how challenging life must have been in our farmhouse 200 or even 100 years ago. I love the silence the blanket of snow creates around us but also now look forward to Spring.

Your ceramics seem to be a living growing flower, very beautiful. What an opportunity to clear the mind and focus. Those conversations must be incredible, I have been following John since you spoke about him and in one post he had me look at my direction in a totally new way.Since then I have found a new focus and re thought my blog. Life is indeed wonderful, hoping you will carry this lesson with you back into the hustle and bustle of life once the snow melts. ciao lisa

Isn't it amazing how we can step back in a time of crisis and see the beauty within it. My mantra is 'all I have is all I need' and this post pretty much says that, doesn't it? Lovely Diana!

p.s. Can't imagine how glorious Spring will be on your hill!

Oh Diana, it has certainly been a time of reflection during this weather and appreciation of different aspects of our lives. However I was not happy to read about the propane, you were so kind to show concern when our delivery did not arrive. How long have you been waiting? We were down to 2% when the tanker made it in the nick of time on Valentines Day.

What a wonderful way to make the best of a very difficult situation.

I hope you're getting some relief from the weather this weekend.

I also look forward to seeing more of your work inspired by this period.
